The Privilege of Travel
Published by The K'enso life
K'enso is the name of my catalytic leadership coaching, team dynamic facilitation and consulting company. K'enso is a combination of two words ; K'e and Enso. The term K’e is a Navajo term that doesn’t quite have a direct translation, and conveys so much – human interconnectedness , love, cherishing, caring, esteem, and ultimately, the acknowledgement of the inherent value of each other in our web of life. In her search for the perfect description of the coaching and facilitation space she wanted to build, our founder Reshma Aziz Khan didn't find any other concept that came close. Enso is a Japanese concept of a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create. These two concepts refer to the ability of an individual or a team to connect with the self and community, and to their wholeness, and to allow themselves to catalyze and evoke their own transformation, in an uninhibited space. Those two concepts together also describe the focus of my musings in this blog - and I hope to inspire travel, leadership authenticity, and resilience. View all posts by The K'enso life
